Jeff Kennedy

Jeff Whiting

City Council Person Jeff Whiting has been on City Council since 2006.  Mr. Whiting owns and operates the Runza Restaurants in Gothenburg and Cozad.

East Ward

Tim Strauser

Mr. Strauser has been on the City Council since 2008.  Mr. Strauser owns interest in the Blase-Strauser Funeral Home and is a mortician.

    Gary Fritch

City Councilman Gary Fritch was appointed to the council in January of 2011 to fill a vacancy.  Prior to serving on the City Council, Councilman Fritch served the Gothenburg Community as  superintendent of Gothenburg Public Schools.

He has also served as Vice President of the Gothenburg Improvement Company, President of the Chamber of Commerce, and is currently on the Board of Directors of the Wild Horse Golf Club.

Gary and his wife Mary, have three sons and six grandchildren.
